System Components: Battery Backup Sump Pump - Our heavy duty pump uses a patented Flow-Thru design that enables it to pump more water than any other backup sump pump while using less battery power, providing for a longer running time. A stainless steel casing and bronze impeller ensure it will withstand harsh pit conditions for years. Controller - A highly reliable non-mechanical sensor tube recognizes the battery backup systems pumping requirements. For any reason the sensor recognizes a higher than usual water level, it will immediately run the system to restore and maintain the proper water level in your pit. The controller will sound an alarm to let you know backup activity has occurred and you should assess the situation and or primary equipment. In the event of total system failure the unit will sound a separate high water alarm for added protection. Battery Power Unit - Our heavy duty 30/40 Amp unit delivers the fastest battery charge with the greatest accuracy. The unit is also capable of running the pump from standard electricity in conjunction with your primary pump for heavy water intake. In the event of primary pump failure the power unit will take over indefinitely until you can fix the problem. A TX battery monitor will alert against old or malfunctioning batteries. Battery heavy duty deep cycle batteries power the system for hours when the electricity is out. A second battery can be added to double the systems pumping time for maximum protection against power failures. A weather resistant case and battery cabling is included.
